So, are you a human being or are you a human doing? Most people literally operate like they are a human doing. “Here is what I do.” “I do this.” We are focused on the action that we are going to take. We’re focused on the result that we want to accomplish. But if you are going to experience ridiculous bliss in your life, and I highly recommend that, you need to begin to focus on the experience that you want to have in your life.
Do you want to experience more joy? Do you want to experience more love? Do you want to experience more kindness or compassion? Do you want to feel exhilarated, exuberant? Do you want to feel uplifted? How do you want to feel? Do you want to feel connected? Do you want to feel loved? Because ultimately, my friend, what you focus on, you become. So, if you’re focused on achieving outcomes and hoping that those outcomes will then produce the feelings that you want, that won’t happen.
No external thing out there is going to change how you feel in here. See, you’ve got to get out of your outcome orientation and get into your experience orientation. Who do you want to be? How do you want to feel? What do you want to experience? Set some goals in that area today.
