It stops you from being honest.
You use it as a cover up for what’s really happening.
It blocks you from asking tough questions about how your life is going.
Somehow we mistake being positive with “nothing bad is happening.”
So, in order to ‘be positive’ we pretend like being is debt is OK, and we don’t make sacrifices to get ourselves financially healthy. Or, we ignore the extra pounds we are carrying around and convince ourselves that it isn’t having an impact on our well-being.
Choosing to be positive is has a lot of value. But, unchecked it has a dark side.
Today, take a few moments and do a little be-honest with yourself and see if your positivity is screwing things up for you… even just a little.
